>>48766214As a profitable product, maybe. In other words, as a franchise, it will be saved. The problem with the OP is that it uses franchise and series as interchangeable. The 2007 Transformers movie saved the franchise at a low point, and to some extent it caused some good things, but it also did some long term damage to every future series as well. On the other hand Beast Wars also saved the Transformers franchise but was also good so it saved the series as a concept. And sometimes, good things are just along for the ride like Animated being a plan B if the movies fail but turning out way more interesting as a series than the movies did. I guess the point is, do you want something to continue indefinitely as a franchise where good things are rare, or do you want something enjoyable regardless of things get to continue or not? Personally, I'm fine with things coming to an end, so I don't mind the latter. I just want everyone involved to see the end coming and give us a satisfying ending.
