>>48765875>Primarily:Still flushing out the factions in my homebrew game so that they seem compelling enough for a player to abandon the league. Which in doing this I've been shocked to find out that narrative, in particular language choice and diction, and one relatable ultimate goal makes it somewhat easy to keep a faction seeming "evil" to someone but "good" to another.
Outside of that I'm still polishing map progression/world structure, major and moderate npc interactions, several moderate and small narratives layered in, and functional teams for doubles in challenge mode.
>SecondarilyI've been playing through praised hacks. Currently on Radical Red and when I'm finished I'm going to go to Crystal Clear and then Gaia. Looking for inspiration as well as having fun. Prepping for Sabrina after finally beating the Rocket Admins tag team battle and Giovanni. Of all the mons that could've saved my ass through both those fights I was very surprised that ended up being Sableye with Prankster. It shut down MKangaskhan and idk if I got lucky but I burned garchomp and then confused it and then after getting off its third Swords Dance I hit it with Foul Play and one shot it it was hilarious. I've got a newfound respect for Sableye now. The strategy I've got planned for Sabrina is fun too I'm bringing a Contrary Shuckle that knows Shell Smash and holds a Psychic Seed for the set up and then I taught it Power Trick to swap just it's physical def with it's attack (it's attack will be over 500) and rock slide+bug bite to just shit through all the psychic/fairy types. My honest only concern is that bogus conkeldur they gave her but we'll see what happens. I feel good about it.
