Missing Numbers.
Giratina's world is just disconnected geometry from the primary world, so who's to say that it didn't already exist before Giratina was sent there. Maybe it was formerly something else's prison. Something that was dealt with in a bygone age. Something that is returning and causing Pokemon to go berserk in Legends.
This will obviously, OBVIOUSLY never fucking happen. but it's fun to think about.
