ITT things real ones do in pokemon games:

>Never put Legendries in party
>Drop the starter after catching 2 pokemon
>Level one pokemon well above the rest (exp share kind of ruined this anyway)

Possible but you need to play some of BW2 first, catch some and trade them over. Or use Dream Radar on 3DS, I remember I had an Azumarill in my party from that and it was pretty great.

I would do this when I was a kid, but a little differently. If my starter was lv35, then I'd have a second in command-ish Pokemon at lv34. Then two others at lv33, and the last two at lv32. Trying to emulate how Pokemon were leveled for late game trainers in earlier gens (pic related is an example). But then I kinda gave up and went with the lv35 starter and lv34 everyone else setup.

He was purposefully handicapping himself. I guess if he runs out of PP he can use struggle. I imagine the idea was to poison/confuse/burn everything else and wait. That's brutal and I can't imagine having fun with it, but if that anon did, it was time well spent.

No I'm day drinking. I meant something like only attacking moves and status inflicting moves.

80% of us never used or trusted non damaging moves growing up so we never did them. only ones that got used were swords dance or the ones that caused statuses

Yeah, that's true. I still delete Growl and Leer and then kick myself for it. A little bit of set up goes a long way.

I never evolve any of the pokemon in my team, until I get to post-game stuff that requires actual strength (i.e., Cynthia in BW, Red in GSC/HGSS etc.). So essentially I beat the game up until the champion/E4 with unevolved (or evolutions from baby) pokemon.
