>>487746461. I accidentally went off of a hiking trail in Indonesia. I'm pretty sure I stepped on the poor thing, causing it to retaliate.
2. VERY fucking painful. As it turns out, that venom was designed to not only act as a proper poison, but also increase the hurt.
3. I mean, I knew they had venom, and I knew if I didn't get help fast, and on top of that, I was in a lot of pain.
4. Strong enough to puncture the skin. I couldn't really tell you because this happened years ago, but I do know that their bites are fairly strong as is.
5. I had other hiking buddies who managed to figure out where we were and drag me back onto the trail and try to treat the wound.
To this day, I'm not entirely sure why I survived, but I managed to. I'm a pretty bulky, so maybe there just wasn't enough venom, and I know the wound was cleaned very quickly so the bacteria infection never took hold.
>>48774657They're not just venomous, they've got a lot of bacteria in their mouth. I think I survived through my sheer bulk(I was obese and wanted to get better, so my friends thought it'd be a cool idea to take a trip to Indonesia and have me hike through some terrain that I wasn't used to.) Up to you whether or not you believe it, because honestly I wouldn't believe myself if I wasn't the centerpoint of that story.
