I decided to pay some love to Pokemon Shield, and Pokemon Sapphire (Remake) before I play some BDSP tomorrow! I just love them! The music is absolutely amazing!

I started a new swsh game a while back trying to catch every mon, but petered out when I hit the wold area. I suppose I should just grab a single team and go for it, but I can never settle on what pokemon to use.

Based, anyone wanna share friend codes? Back in the XY days I remember the friend safari threads being pretty comfy, made a lot of 3DS friends from those.
I'm surprised by how much I'm liking Shining Pearl, the visuals are actually nice on the Switch. Also the D-pad controls being tile-based are extremely kino, but beyond all that I'm digging a lot of the new remixes for the OST. I haven't played a new Pokemon since SuMo so the forced exp all was surprising at first, but it doesn't seem that bad? The impression /vp/ gave me was that it was the same amount of exp to all Pokemon after a battle/capture, although in reality the distribution of exp isn't that badly done. My Pokemon are not absurdly overleveled and I'm barely about to fight my rival outside of Jublife.
I'm excited to be able to go online later on, will enjoy using the GWS and fucking around on random wi-fi battles (if they're in this game that is). Also still being able to polish and make music with the badges is also pure kino.

I enjoy that I don't have to spend loads of time grinding in wild battles and I very much enjoy the return to a more classic feel.

Yeah, feels like the first classic Pokemon game in almost 10 years really. It hasn't been the same feeling since XY at least, BW2 felt like the last kind of true Pokemon games to me.

Yeah, the wild area is SwSh is praised a lot, but I hated the fact how hard it was to complete the Pokedex because of it. Happy to finally have another game that it's actually going to be attainable.

I plan on using a Snorlax and Chatot but my team is way too physical with my only special attacker being Chatot since i'm running a physical Pachirisu. Any suggestions?

Has anyone played on set mode instead of shift yet, and did they find out if that helped the difficulty at all? I'm not too worried about the difficulty, but just out of curiosity.

Haven't decided my team yet but I have a Budew and boxed my starter. I love Budew. He's a bit weak right now and is struggling against Starlys and whatnot, but soon he'll be a beautiful Roselia.

Loving BDSP so far, outside of the weird opponent level scaling that left me momentarily 10 levels above enemy trainer pokemon. Thanks to the Veilstone store selling the best playthrough TM's in the game at 3K a pop, my Misdreavus, with it's combination of Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, and Hex, is solo'ing Maylene's entire gym.

Thinking about buying this, just have a couple questions that I can't find the answers to.
Is there a list anywhere of which Pokemon are available in the Underground and when you can access them? I heard in other threads that a lot of mons are locked until post game.
Can you encounter strangers in the Underground via Internet? I want spiritomb but don't know anyone else buying this.

There is a list somewhere. I may be wrong, but I think the prenatdex mons in the underground are the mons that were added in platinum (duskull, snowrunt, etc...)

I wanted Cherrim, but the budew I caught was timid, and fuck having to grind for 2 honey tree mons. (I shudder to think of getting Mucnhlax). I hear you can get maby in the underground, so hopefully its not super painful. Debating Drifblim or Mismagius if I can get there today.
