Between the leaves and the dress up accessories, HGSS' version of it will forever be the best version unless Game Freak changes.
>>48772679I hate to promote Joe's shitty fansite but Serebii has a full list of these interactions and reading them all is really interesting because you have some that make sense like Raikou/Entei/Suicune reacting differently in the Burned Tower but then you also have cool ones you never hear about like Porygon in Celadon City or Shroomish in Ilex/Viridian Forests despite it not being found until postgame or Mime Jr, Bellossom and Pichu in the Ecruteak City Dance Hall. It should also be noted that in HGSS, NPCs that have following pokemon like Lance in the Rocket Hideout or Silver in the Dragon's Den send out their walking pokemon like the player does with their walking pokemon and not out of its pokeball when paired with the player for doubles so the attention to detail with this feature in HGSS was fucking killer.
