The only QoL in BDSP is no HMs, and given Bidoof is probably the first Pokemon you'll encounter, it's one of the least offensive things they 'fixed'.

Except that's not true. In DP you can't get Ralts until the postgame. In BDSP you can get Ralts as well as tons of other pokemon that were previously exclusive to the marsh or postgame or other games entirely pre-natdex.
