The attempt to solve the DP dex issue by flooding it with Platinum dex pokemon is only proof of how shit DP's encounter table is, and it also helps to make the game even easier than it already is, by giving you shit like Super Luck Absol before you even beat the second gym. And speaking of difficulty, happiness (i.e., something your pokemon get merely by breathing) literally turns you into an unkillable god, removing any semblance of challenge the game could have at any point, assuming you skipped every trained and swapped your team every route because of the also forced exp share.
So, nope, sorry, these games are actually even worse than Diamond and Pearl. There, I fucking said it.
