Let's Go Eevee, and it sucks in the SwSh anime. It feels like a shell of its former self.

I couldn't think of any Pokémon (as a species) that got ruined by memes, but I remember some really cringe memes that mischaracterized and normie-fied PMD2 characters so hard that it made 'liek Mudkip' look like humor of the gods by comparison.

This dude got overhyped as SHIT. I saw him as a cute, loving companion as a kid. I didn't furry out or grow as attached as most people did, but my gen 1 kid self saw Charizard as a part of the team, and there was nothing wrong with it. Zard's role in the 1st movie made me grow especially fond of the character. But normies and bara furries ruined the magic.

Back when I first saw Greninja, I thought it looked cool as fuck. Water shuriken was a cool concept and a decent competitive move. But it got really hyped up and used in just about every time, so it got boring.
>Zacian-Crowned
I loved this doggo when I first saw it. But then the zoophiles got on making tons of cookie jokes about it, and it also became the new mega rayquaza in terms of competitive play: overplayed, boring, more frustrating than a challenge, and pretty much a free kill in a team (like most level 1 mons).
>Eeveelutions
There's too much furry porn of them. Umbreon. Espeon, and Jolteon at least get less porn, but I still feel bad for Flareon, Glaceon, and Vaporeon. They were so cute.
