Fish Pokemon in the games levitated since the Stadium games, never understood why when there's water under them in some of the battle areas, unless they didn't want to make a separate animation for those water battle areas, after all wouldn't they have to animate other Pokemon swimming as well?

Seriously, why is it such a big deal when some species can only be caught postgame? Pokemon has been like this since the start. It's nothing new.
