I remember when we had real buzz, back in the late gen 4/gen 5 days and up until the early few months of gen 6 (up until the time when Bank wasnt available to everyone). Gen 7 was pretty dead and I tapped out of Pokemon completely so I can't speak for gen 8's presence on /vp/ but I imagine it was as dead as the initial reception to BDSP. We don't give people on this board enough credit sometimes, it does feel like most people have boycotted new Pokemon games entirely.
