LGPE is probably the furthest game from the mainline formula and I personally think its differences should give it a pass from this contest. It's not an adventure game, it's a catching mini-game. It's also the easiest game to get shinies in and the Pokemon models were at the very least scaled properly. Those who have actually played LGPE will understand how different it is to the mainline games.

Yeah, I just beat the fighting gym, but you'd think that since two of my pokemon are now fully evolved (Gardevoir and Gastrodon) and one is a mid-stage (Monferno) I'd see it at least once, especially since I've had gardevoir following me since it was a kirlia.

You can ride on your own Pokemon in LGPE.

This alone elevates it above more or less every other Pokemon game.

Why are monotype and nuzlocke challenge so popular then? Not to mention the countless romhacks a lot of fans love.
I'm not saying they should turn the games into a grindfest, just make it more challenging so that affection, exp share and other stuff are balanced out.
