How do we fix mono-types?

Defensively I think they're still fine. Stuff like mono-water is a great typing to have for a wall, but it sucks offensively. What would you do to make mono-types better offensively?

Go look at how many offensively oriented Pokemon are in OU. Now count how many of them are mono-typed.

>Libero/protean attack only change their type AFTER they attack so if they want to get STAB they have to commit by using the move at least once, instead of getting free instant STAB on fucking everything.

The entire picture is even more disingenuous when you realize that the 3 non-Ditto Pokemon they circled are used mainly for their defenses, while OP flat-out admitted that mono-types are fine defensively and was looking for ways to buff them offensively.

Probably either increase their stab by a bit or decrease the stab of duel typings. Like maybe 1.3 per type if you’re duel typed instead of 1.5
