I remember the days, literally just a few years ago, that simply having the EXP share in the game was universally considered one of the worst things to come with gen 6. Yeah I really don't fucking get how people whose experience of a Pokemon game is limited to the 4-20 hour campaign manage to have this strong of an opinion about anything. A Pokemon game could literally have a cardboard box for a protagonist and 0 campaign at all and I would still laud it as the best Pokemon game of all time if I thought the new Pokemon, new mechanics, metagame and postgame were all better than what came before

all the "pro exp share" anons are either arguing in bad faith or casuals (the kind that gamefreak is trying to cater to with decisions like these) who can't grasp the concept of having to grind in an RPG game

people like this have always fascinated me. why not just inject your team? why do you have to play by some autistic company's rules that offer no interesting challenge but tedious busywork. party wide exp share reduces grinding by x amount of arbitrary hours. why not just reduce it by 100% and then use the time saved to do literally anything else than run around in circles. christ.
