For the last fucking time, the numbers you see on Wikipedia are the overall revenue the franchise has made in its lifetime. Revenue =/= profit, and they don't have all of that many on hand now. It's all already been spent paying their workers, and funding the production new games, anime, trading cards, and merchandise.

Like how Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 had the highest budget of any video (250 million) prior to Cyberpunk 2077, but only 40-50 million of that budget was spent on development, the rest was spent on marketing. News showed that GF pays their workers very little.
Also, while they may not exactly have 90 billion on hand, their games still regularly sell tens of millions for each release, which could easily fund top of the line AAA games, let alone Pokemon titles.

It's a simple concept. Whatever money you spend on Pokemon goes right back into whatever you spend it on. The money you spend on merchandise has no effect on the games, the money you spend on games has no effect on the trading cards, and so. Whatever money they make has to go right back into whatever it was made from, money earned from toys can't be used to fund games, and so on.
