This whole part of the story was absolute kino and totally went over the heads of brainlets.

Now, most people would be able to piece together what GF was trying to go for but since this board is one of the lowest IQ boards next to /x/ and /pol/ I feel as though I should spell it out.
GF was trying to say that the current state of Pokemon (Gen 4 and onward) is absolutely terrible and they desperately want to go back to more soulful gens (1-3). While the brainlets focused on how much this particular part of the story didn't make sense, intelligent people will realize the hidden meaning beneath.
