The remake is just as bad as original D/P, it's not even Platinum. If you've played the originals there's no need to get the remakes because they're basically identical.

Platinum is better in every way. The 3D chibi style is bad enough, but they've left out a lot of content from DPPt without fixing any glaring issues, like postgame locked mons and the slow pacing

You’re not missing anything especially compared to Plat unless you’re really that bothered by HMs, it’s shocking how little they improved. The only incentive is battling/playing with friends but realistically that’s not gonna last long (doesn’t help that most of my friends are big casuals anyway)
