Remakes will always happen, games will sell because the primary audience is children. VP will never be happy because GF can't be bothered to keep up with modern games if they know people will buy pokemon regardless of quality.

Black and white has too much work for remake. It was easy to do with simpler old regions. Small indie studios won't make it without cutting 50% of content.

They're just going to "remaster" BW. Aka re-release the exact same game with the same graphics but add a bloom effect or something, and that's it.
And people will call it "comfy" to justify this.
