I should tell you it's shit because I wish these games would try harder instead of selling well when, but I haven't given Nintendo a cent in upwards of 5 years now and my bitching about it isn't going to change anything about what direction the series is going since millions of people have already bought the game and liked it.
That being said, the game's art style is kinda ugly, and the changes to levelling and the new happiness based battle bonus mechanics make the game way too easy.
You might have trouble near the very start and very end of the game, but the middle is almost painfully nothing, it's easy even by Pokemon standards.
The most disappointing thing personally is the lack of Pokemon from beyond gen 4 -- the best bit of HG/SS and OR/AS was being able to have newer Pokemon.
