>>48818291The pretense is pretty different in BW, you're not really out to stop Team Plasma because there's a chance they could actually be good, and the grunts you see abusing and stealing Pokemon could simply be bad eggs. It's only at the end that Ghetsis reveals his true plan. There's no such pretense in BW2, they're just evil from the start. I honestly prefer BW2 because of this, BW's story just seemed so stupid to me, even when the game was brand new. The idea of a bunch of evil-looking chucklefucks cosplaying as knights convincing anyone to give up their Pokemon is just so ridiculous to me. At least in BW2 they're just straight-up evil, using a legendary Pokemon to fuel a doomsday weapon.
