>>48818781I think the remakes actually make them far more enjoyable and make their flaws easier to ignore. The pacing actually being fast is a godsend, enhanced Mon distribution early on is dope, contrary to what anons say the exp share isn’t broken if you don’t grind or only use a single Mon. Remade soundtrack is awesome, and I personally really hate the visuals of all the DS Pokemon games so I think this is a super pretty rendition of the region, even if the chibis were a bad decision. My biggest complaints are, once again, the chibis, but also the hard tile borders that stop you when running with omnidirection (especially underground), the affection is pretty annoying, and the following Pokemon are awful. Most of them look bad and are way too slow, Empoleon is my only guy who can keep up, I would choose no one but he looks too kino Naruto running behind me to ball him.
