And believe me, the animations that everybody keeps seeing aren't cherry picked.
Look at a Kabutops using Mega Kick, that's never shown in any of these GIFs or YouTube videos. Persian using Shadow Ball, Kangaskhan using Surf, Jynx using Mega Kick.
Venusaur using Earthquake in the Stadium games is an absolutely incredible animation. Yet nobody uses it as an example. And there are many more that don't get talked about. Onix using Fire Spin is incredible too, they actually have it spin around in a circle, just for move that it might mimic (and it actually has a different animation for Flamethrower and Fire Spin).
There are so many amazing animations that aren't cherry picked. Even just Blastoise using Tackle and Withdraw looks so cool, people always focus on Hydro Pump.
Venomoth Sludge Bomb, Clefable Flamethrower, Weezing Fire Blast, Clefable's Psychic animation in Stadium 2 is cool tool.
You haven't seen the half of it, believe me.
