No, not after they ruined Goldenrod theme and locked the GB sounds to the postgame. I can look over the flaws in the ORAS and BDSP soundtracks because I don't have as much nostalgia for Hoenn and Sinnoh (I do have some nostalgia for them, more for Hoenn than for Sinnoh, but not as much as for Johto). The soundtrack of HGSS was the worst part of HGSS IMO. Apart from that they're amazing games.

I think both themes are good actually, though I grew up on Gen 4 so Im a tad biased

What they should have done is use the HGSS Goldenrod theme for daytime and a proper remix of the original for nighttime. This is assuming HGSS went the way of Sinnoh with daynight themes of course

whereas in HGSS I can't really say I prefer any theme to GSC. There's not a single theme that sends shivers down my spine like the above two do. There are probably remixes in HGSS that are objectively superior to GSC, but it's hard to overlook my nostalgia. I was born in 1995, so Silver was my first Pokemon game that I played when I was 6. Emerald was the first game I played seriously, but it's not as nostalgic to me as Johto. By the time DP released I was already in Middle School so it's even less nostalgic for me than Hoenn. So it's easier for me to look past my biases for ORAS and BDSP. Though I think Shota Kageyama gets too much hate.

FRLG also had some terrible remixes. It's sad how the best remakes have the worst soundtracks but BDSP, the worst remake aside from LGPE, has arguably the best soundtrack of any remake.
