I'm playing shining pearl right now, its boring, slow paced, the pokemon distribution is shit, I'm five levels above every trainer with zero challenge, outfits and following pokemon aren't available from the start, gts is paid subscription, and Dawn is black now.

It's literally just diamond and pearl but easier... and you'll spend exactly 30 minutes of your life watching your pokemon jump up and down and conjure hearts out of its head while it saves itself from being KO and then proceeds to have the nerve to say "it looks like it's in a pinch and about to cry"

Also Legends has a better chance of being interesting so if you should buy that before considering bdsp.

It's probably the lamest remake they've ever put out. Imagine remaking gen4 and deliberately removing all the stuff Platinum added to enhance the journey, and make the game braindead easy too.

It's fun af they didn't cuck the exploration and openness of the region nor nerf mount coronet for babbies
The graphics look way better in motion than in screenshots
But you should probably invest your money instead of buying time water videogames.

It feels very limited compared to other recent games and the new content isn't captivating enough. Sinnoh isn't as good as you remember and you'll have a lot of regret once the elite 4 is done and there's nothing to do

I think there was one team galactic member that basically told me "hey you cant get to spear pillar from this entrance" but they dont stop you and you have to talk to then

Out of the pokemon remakes, bdsp is only better than lgpe. If you buy either of these games I would recommend you wait until pokemon home comes out so you won't have to struggle with the elite four if you have powerful pokemon stored there.

No battle frontier or anything like that, you can rebattle gym leaders but thats it. Game is completely devoid of platinum content even past that, so no updated stark mountain, no looker, etc.
