>>48824699>how thoughSince everything gives EXP, you can outlevel the game really easily by catching Pokemon and battling normally. I was anywhere from 5 to 10 levels above gym leaders when I played BDSP because I went underground and caught Pokemon, for example.
>how is that different from grinding one pokemon at a time Because grinding is sitting in one spot killing the same stuff over and over, going through a route and fighting the unskippable trainers, or going around and catching new Pokemon is not "grinding", yet your team still gets a ton of EXP as if you were.
>>48824719>>48824753I never got this argument, you play as a Pokemon Trainer, that means its your job to train your Pokemon and make them strong. Swap training really only sucked when it was something that couldn't fight back, like an Abra or a Magikarp, otherwise you could easily raise weaker Pokemon by putting them in against something they have a type advantage over.
EXP share just removes all of that, so you can just blitz through the game. I get that EXP share defenders actually fucking hate playing Pokemon and just want to get to the credits ASAP, but some people enjoyed the chance to use and train the weaker Pokemon.
The worst part is, again, people only hate EXP share because its not optional. If you want it on, then fine, but people who want it off just have the option just like people who want to nickname their Pokemon should have the option, removing either is fucking dumb and makes no sense considering how large Pokemon's audience is.
