Not sure if I can explain this properly, but does Game Freak go with certain designs themes for all new Pokemon each gen?
For example, Gen II has very simple designs and evolutions, Gen 4 mons just got fatter (no one likes Magmortar or Electivire), and Gen 7 were overdesigned. Are Pokemon designs based on hardware, or by design choice?
