I actually support the exp share for all team members. Because grinding does not make the game more difficult, it just makes them more tedious and boring. An "artificial difficulty" if you will.

Genuine difficulty involves not just increasing the levels of enemy pokemon but also giving them better IVs/EVs and improving their AI. Imagine if every trainer was scaled according to Shirona for example. The games would be way more challenging and fun, instead of the usual brainless spamming of the same move to ohko or 2hko every opponent. The games could have the enemy pokemon attack with super effective moves or setup/competitive moves like 80% of the time, and identify your current pokemon and switch out accordingly like 20% of the time. If a move is not very effective or has no effect on my pokemon, then don't fucking use it. The current AI is just picking a move at random. It's an absolute joke.
