sword and shield is miles better nowadays thanks to dlc, just buy an used copy plus the dlc and it's probably gonna be cheaper than bdsp.
Nonetheless there's still no good switch pokemon game

OLED burn in is a boogyman, the worst you'll get is a few rings on your screen that are only noticeable when the entire screen is black. The technology has come a long way, and the colors are so much better (although ur money is best spent getting a nice oled TV and emulating switch games, BDSP looks good unscaled to 4k w/ mods)

If you buy bdsp, I would wait for pokemon home to be updated because the elite four being hard ruins the fun and I won't even bother with their smogon bullshit asses until I get my level 100's sent over from shield.
