Normies *loved* the DS and love the Switch - therefore the power of Pokémon is watered down - alongside the normies buying into Pokémon again, they're buying into everything else. BotW had a 125% instal base in its first weeks at launch, as people bought their copy and waited to get their system off a restock so small wonder there now games been on sale for longer than Pokémon with far higher sales, as they're the quintessential normie co-op and single player experiences. And they also saw fit to include Pokémon in that top five twice in separate generations on separate systems.
