>>48849151I fully agree anon, one of the reasons I still play sapphire to this day is because I like the contests and I like to beat each of the contest halls throughout my journey incrementally. It feels better paced to have them spread out so you can do them one by 1 in tandem with your progression, in DPPt it's sort of annoying needing to go back to hearthome everytime.
