It's not the same art style, but they've held on to design principals, if that makes sense. You can still tell almost any Pokemon is in fact a Pokemon even if you've never seen it before.
The only Pokemon that straight-up don't fit at all are very intentionally outliers, like Eternatus, the Alien Geometry of Overcomplication.
