I fucking hate the exp share and affection. If ILCA patch the game to get rid of that cloning glitch, the fuckers better give us a fucking toggle to turn exp share and affection off and on. If they do that these games might actually become pretty good. To mitigate those things I just rotate my pokemon constantly and shove herbs down my Pokemon who I plan to use on my 'proper' team, but it blows that we have to essentially use all kinds of mental gymnastics to get around the shitty progression in this game rather than having a simple choice to turn things off.
