>$60 game that's somehow still not the definitive version of a region and is outclassed by Platinum
>people can only say good things about it when compared to the blatantly unfinished DP
>literally nothing new to talk about in regards to lore/gameplay/whatever
>"faithful remake" was really just the corporate excuse to cut as many corners as possible and not add anything new
>faithful in that it retains all the horrible design decisions present in DP,, like Drifloon cucking people out of the Natdex for a week, bad encounter tables and other dumb shit like locking Rotom to postgame, while also ignoring everything Platinum fixed
>but not faithful in that it cut features like the GTS, full contests, mulch, base customization, basically anything that would have taken effort to implement because these games weren't actually designed to be played for more than maybe 20 hours
>devs were very clearly aware of Platinum and the desire for Platinum content, as shown by the Shadow Giratina battle, but chose to do a straight DP remake anyway
>somehow the most consistently buggy games since the GBC, Poke Radar doesn't even work right
>forced EXP share in a game not balanced around it (except for the literal last boss)
>forced Amie buffs you need to actively work against if you want some semblance of challenge
>grand underground kinda sucks
These unironically might actually be the worst Pokemon games ever, not just because of what they are, but because they had the potential to really make Sinnoh shine and surpass Platinum, but instead just shat all over it and its legacy. Outright embarrassing.
