As a kid I thought the leaf to the right of Bulbasaur was actually like a green hill in the background with the white highlights representing strong winds not unlike the air being launched out of the bulb. I even thought all that wind coming from afar was part of Bulbasaur's attack basically sucking up air before unleaching the bulb attack.

Was it just me?
