playing eternal x atm and i'm realising there was a lot more detail and love put into these games than later entries. The presentation is really nice, I love all the little details that scream "hey, we're 3d now!!" like fancy lighting and the changing camera angles. Really feels like the only time where pokemon was at least somewhat on par with other big titles on the same platform.

I think they're good, but they did represent an overall step down in quality that hasn't stopped even now.

However the additions of PSS, Amie, and fuckhuge regional dexes cannot be denied. I loved the Looker postgame too. Kalosmons are pretty decent too.

Now here's a real question: Why the fuck are there barely any Kalos legendaries? They had to reuse the Birds AND Mewtwo
