The idea is Aggron's hide is so tough that punching it like >>48868247 would hurt your hand. What do you guys think? Would that be just what it needs for competitive play or too OP?

That would still leave Aggron with a crippling 4x weakness to ground and I'll doubt GF would ever put that much effort into a mon like Aggron without it being tied to a marketable gimmick, but I like this idea.

Why not make changes to the super effective damage system?

2× becomes 1.5× while 4× becomes 2×

Filter and Solid Rock would only reduce damage that would be 2× effective as part of this change.
