>>48867867It's pretty obvious that Gen 8's balancing was done to favor monotypes, regardless of design. That's also why Falinx is monotype Fighting. Remember, in Pokemon, typing and stats are done entirely separately from the actual designs of Pokemon.
Anyone who says otherwise like "oh it just uses fighting moves" is coping. There is no in-universe reason for it to be Fighting.
