Just get something with remotely decent special bulk to set up against Spiritomb, it's really not that difficult. She's hard if you go in with the average in-game team of sub-par sweepers, but any actual strategy will still shred her.

niggle me this anon, Cynthia's pokemons' level are from 60-66, while the games only give you enough exp for 6 50ish lvl pokemons
gen 4 and remakes have the worst lvl curve

In the originals maybe, in the remakes the EXP Share offsets the curve. It was probably the entire reason they made it mandatory in the first place.

If you're really so desperate go to Veilstone, buy some X Defenses, some X Special Defenses, some X Attacks/Special Attacks and maybe some X Speeds. I solo'd her with a Chimchar this way.

depending on who and how many you take in your team you'll be underlevelled for the champion/end fight in most games. the thing with shillrona is some jap loser on the dev team gets his little peepee off by bigging up this boring character and giving her fan service. just grind a fast ice beam user or use items there's no reason to take it seriously

I wasn't. I did some stuff in the Underground but I'd hardly call it grinding. I got to Cynthia in the low 60s, which is perfect.
