>>48868559>>48868724>>48868834The general consensus is that Platinum -> B2W2 were the peak of Pokemon--despite their own flaws--and the fact that TPCi/Gamefreak/Mausda and his lover (dealer's choice) seem to not only refuse to build on the philosophies of those games but actually take BACKWARDS steps is frustrating to a lot of people.
People who don't care about how bad the new games are don't care enough to defend them, or attack the games before it, unless it PAYS for them to defend it, financially or otherwise.
Also, note how Pokemon defense forces started cropping up riiiiight around the time TPCi partnered with a SanFran based startup funded by Google. Just sayin
