I agree with you, but I don't think it matters. Calling everything autism wasn't your typical thing in 2006, and I doubt even now that it's much of anything in Japan. DP does do a shit job of explaining Cyrus' motivations (which Pt fixes only somewhat) and that's a bigger problem with him than worrying whether he's an outright malevolent character with a diagnosable personality disorder or not.
