He can make it shiny but until proven otherwise is effectively whatever shiny Pokémon he uses to do it. It shouldn’t be able to use any moves online that aren’t the dittos moves or whatever he used.

Current team is Adamant Dragon Dance Gyarados, Jolly Life Orb Garchomp, and I'm working towards getting a Thunderpunch Infernape for a mixed attacker. I realized that I had nothing to deal with Skarmory and Bronzong when they show up since I didn't have a fire move and Garchomp doesn't get Fire Fang anymore and I figure Infernape can get Grass Knot as well to deal with Quagsire and the like. I'm thinking Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Grass Knot, Thunderpunch, and Close Combat. One anon was kind enough to send me an excellent clone of his Suicune but I decided I want to at least try to get through on my own merits first and if I fail too bad then I'll switch over. I definitely need to get Ice Fang on my Gyarados though because not having Ice Beam is going to hurt. I also considered trying a special attacking Salamence but it'd take forever since I don't have Pearl. Also considered Rotom-Heat but I'd lose the Grass coverage so idk. Any input for Battle Tower strategies overall would be great.

You could also just run a fainted Compound Eyes mon in the front and use a mon with Thief/Covet to try and steal one. It becomes 20% chance if you use CompoundEyes.

You can get Dusknoir, it's just a bit of luck of the draw. The Reaper Cloth is only like 25BP too, I'm sure some anon out there is working toward their Pokedex and will need it anyways. This isn't too bad an assumption, but swsh has pokebank compatibility, and there are a lot of mons that are locked out from being transferred in. I'm assuming going forward that every pokebank compatible game will have a blacklist of pokemon that can't be transferred into it.

the rate is extremely low anyways so calling it safe is a bit of a stretch, you're better off duping as much as you can for now to be ready when the glitch gets patched

this is the way I'm kinda looking at it. I got a handful of Ability Capsules, my next target is getting an Ability Patch. I just want to clone the shit that's gonna be a huge pain in the ass to farm for otherwise, like those and the Apricorn balls, maybe some mints, but other than that I've got no issue grinding the Battle Tower until I get enough points to buy stuff legit once I get a team together. I also got 25 Master Balls in case I actually do end up finding a shiny Latios, so I don't have to deal with Memento.
