I’m not giving you a super speech about why it’s a good game because that’s a subjective take and I’ll just get tldr’d/ignored, I know that, and I can admit objectively this series falls short of greatness in comparison to a lot of other big franchises and other video game series. All I’m gonna say is for a Pokémon game it is entertaining, challenging at the end, full of QoL changes, has new underground content and legendary mechanics, charming in its inclusion of overworld Pokémon and new contest features, and pays great respect to its foundation almost to a fault.
