Sword and Shield had a lot of problems, but the DLC were some of the best Pokemon games ever. I hope that Crown Tundra is indicative of the direction they are going to go. It managed to put solid routes, cool locations, and a decent town into the open-world/Wild Area format, it has a couple of solid memorable characters, a good variety of Pokemon, and one of the series' better mini games with the dynamax adventures. If GameFreak expanded the same energy as Crown Tundra into a full length Pokemon game it would be the best game in the series.
