Unpopular Opinion Thread, I'll start.
This is actually one of my favourite champion themes. Using the Hall of Fame theme for an undefeated Champion is pretty damn cool. Even though Leon is kind of lame

gen4 sucks and was a low point
pokemon has always been mediocre and coasted on FOMO marketing in the late 90s
mega/dyna/gigamax is fine and helps elevate left-behind pokemon

i hate how all the shinies or perfect iv mons can be hacked in any game, and no one will be able to tell if it was hacked or not. why would i spend hours and months on something that someone else can get in a minute or two. so in the end, whats the point of wasting your time on shiny hunting or breeding?
i think the only way to fight hacks is to have game connected to the internet at all times, like pokemon go does...

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are great games

I liked Leon and SwSh.
Gen 6 has the worst starters of the entire series, braixen is the only redeemable one.
RSE are fucking boring.
let's see, what else...
Oh yeah. I'm glad HMs are going away. HM slaves were terrible.

I don’t like battle facilities. The main reason is that they effectively force you to engage with the least intuitive mechanics in the series, EVs and IVs.

EVs are fine, but they should be explained to the player and gains should be actively displayed at the end of battles. IVs absolutely need to go.

BDSP saved Sinnoh. DP were trash, Platinum was mediocre, but BDSP saved Sinnoh

LGPE is the best version of Kanto

It was a good thing that real animals were part of the world in the original lore. Now we need a Pokemon for every microbe on the planet for the full ecosystem.
I don't care about battle towers or however they were called. The Switch PMD remake is shit. Team Rocket is the only cool evil team.

I've beaten Crystal for the first time a couple of months ago, but I really never sinked my teeth into HGSS, what's the difference.

I'm not sure how Pikachu is, but I found Eevee to be way too overpowered, especially for a "My first Pokémon" it's trying to be. I'm still relatively new the the franchise, but I think the first and biggest thing any Pokémon game should teach is that you can't rely on your starter, but Eevee's moveset becomes so powerful and versatile, it felt like a waste for me to use anything on another Pokémon. I thought it would be funny to see if I could beat the Elite 4 + Champion solo, but I was surprised on just how easy it was.

Gen 1 is the best generation and if you weren't around for pokemania your opinions are not worth as much as those of someone who was.

Shiny pokemon were a mistake.

Dynamax and dexit aside, SwSh were great games.
