The main reason I liked the original Sinnoh games was because they seemed "badass." They had one of the hardest difficulties of any Pokemon game, some of the coolest Pokemon desgins, the creators of time and space, a literal God, a Pokemon that causes nightmares, and a nihilistic supergenius villain. But how am I supposed to be intimidated when that nihilisitc villain is 2 feet tall saying he's going to destroy me? It's like cringe comedy.
