The rumor is the final starters are going to have Hisuian forms, which is neat. Maybe they can fix Samurott's design with it too

According to Riddler's clues, Decidueye is still an archer. Typhlosion will have some thematic connection to yokai/night parade of 100 demons. Samurott will be a demon slayer.

Regional forms are literally just variations of the original design. Biped/Anthrofags are setting themselves for disappointment.

The fact that they are leaked but without images doesn't get me less hyped but more actually.

The designs i am more excited to see are the (possibly) grass type Electrode, the new Qwilfish with long spikes (plus evo!) and the poison type Sneasel plus new evo too

That's what Samurott is. If it's a Hisuian form then it's Samurott but slightly different. If it were too diferent it'd be a new mon, and that's not the case

We've seen brief moments in the anime where Samurott was able to stand on its hind legs. There doesn't have to be a radical redesign, Hisuian Samurott just has to stand on its hind legs moreso than the regular one.
