Ladies and gentlemen, the Pokémon game everyone says they want now but nobody bought at the time.
>Graphically impressive for the series at the time, still looks better than X/Y/Sun/Moon/Sword/Shield/BDSP outside of resolution output (which can be instantly fixed by Dolphin)
>Double battles ONLY. Battles start out at higher levels and have much more strategy to them.
>An actually interesting story, not through some fake drama with one side character relating to the villain or the legendary, the main protagonist has a past with the evil team but betrays them to seek his own path. It’s story driven but there’s still plenty of fun moments and it isn’t boring or faux-sentimental. It’s like a bombastic crime story in the Pokémon world.
Everyone asks for better graphics, story, and gameplay out of the series. Well, we got it, all those years ago. But you snubbed it. And so after a sequel that even less people remember, Genius Sonority quit trying to give it to you.
