In most aspects I like the physical special split but this is probably the most notable consequence of it. Being a mixed attacker before meant you got access to the entire type spectrum for offensive options instead of just half of it. Now you just get more moves. It can be useful in that they're tougher to wall but they're also far less threatening a lot of the time because their stats aren't as focused

In Gen 5 before sleep was nerfed and Breloom was on every team I would get some great wins with ST Latios. Draco Meteor, HP Fire, and Psyshock with Sleep Talk and Choice Specs gets you the surprise 1HKO on Breloom and possibly something else. It was pretty based

So long as it can get a priority attack move this is a sound strat. Bonus points if it has 31 max HP or less and is also holding a Sitrus berry. Now it can wipe out two level 100 opponents.
