The main problem with Palmer is that the game doesn't give you a reasonable way to prep for him. The BP you get before facing Palmer is 6. That's not enough for any kind of EV equipment or Competitive items. The best you can do is buy a few vitamins to maybe try and get one mon up to fighting shape, but even then it has to be subsidized with hundreds of thousands of dollars. Should have at least given you enough for one EV training item minimum.

Equip the macho brace for EV training and use life orb/leftovers/lum berry in the Battle Tower. You can obtain all four of these items without playing the Battle Tower.

Yeah the BP cost is highly unreasonable for the BP you earn per battle. I got wrecked with my story mons first but got lucky in my next match, but only ended up with a total of like what? 32 BP for that? Meanwhile all those competitive items cost a lot so it's a bit rough.

I will say, you can beat his 21 streak team with an adamant torterra max attack/speed EV and IV, wood hammer 1shots milotic and rhyperior.

And the dragonite can be 2 tapped. I had a dragon claw garchomp to get it to half, faint, then my froslass i used for the game which worked.

Boys, I currently have an EV trained Garchomp and Weavile. Who should I use to complete the 3 man team? I was thinking maybe Porygon for a special attacker, but it wouldn't do much to help type coverage I don't think. Thoughts?
